15 Feb Improve Your Trade show style
Trade show exhibiting is a fine art form, with many different sales and advertising techniques needed to implement the perfect trade show booth.
If you are a first, second, even thirty time exhibitor and need some inspiration on how to start, or even how to change and improve your trade show booth, VE has you covered.
1. First time exhibitor, and you want to make a big splash at your first show?
As much as you want to make an impression, with flashy design and colours, you only have 5 seconds to get across your point, so make sure your design is clean, your logo is upfront and easy to see.
2. Do you have a small booth, but need to get lots of information across?
Of course, if you are a first time exhibitor, and you have a small booth size (say 3×3) – you want to fit all of your pertinent information onto one backwall and maybe into an AV presentation.
Its so tempting…. but you should always leave only the ESSENTIAL information on your trade show walls … as our fearless leader Martin says, “Treat your booth like a billboard not a brochure”
Use images, and key phrases to give clients a broad overview of what you are doing. The detailed look is for your sales staff, or your follow up emails the next week!
3. You don’t know what is important to include in your booth…
Organising a booth as a exhibitor can be daunting – how do you know what to include?
Your booth should consist of three things;
- a solid marketing message
- your logo
- graphics or images
With these, you can be sure that your booth visitor is able to understand your business’ aims and their product!
